There is an excellent public transport service with buses between Aylesbury and Oxford town centres and for the commuter the village railway station (Haddenham & Thame Parkway) has trains running between London and Birmingham. Junctions 7 & 8 of the M40 provide good access to London Heathrow and Birmingham airports The village offers a variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes, numerous village shops, a post office and a garden centre.

The Wychert Way is essentially a circular walk around Haddenham connecting the villages of Chearsley, Cuddington, Gibraltar, Dinton , Ford, Aston Sandford and Kingsey all clearly way marked with Green Wychert Way Roundels picture on Public or Permissive paths. From Haddenham there are a series of links to the Wychert Way (marked with Orange roundels) that provide routes direct to Chearsley, Cuddington , Gibraltar, Dinton and Aston Sandford and in so doing connecting Haddenham to the Wychert Way. www.wychert.org.uk. Haddenham Garden Centre has been well established since 1978 with a expanding project of a larger coffee shop, farm shop to meet local demands.

Highlight

Haddenham Museum is run by volunteers, first opened in 1998, and is housed in the Old Schoolroom of the Methodist chapel in the centre of the village. The museum was established to collect and preserve historical information and artefacts about the village and its collection includes both household and industrial items as well as farming implements, photographs and documents relating to the domestic and rural life of the village of Haddenham.
